Unfortunately my stay didn’t go as expected. I had booked the hotel because I was attending a concert at the PSV Stadium, which was canceled last‑minute due to code red and extreme weather conditions. Since this was an exceptional situation outside my control, I contacted the hotel to ask whether a partial refund or a small gesture of goodwill was possible. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, just something to acknowledge the circumstances.Sadly, my request was declined without any flexibility. While the hotel itself I think it's fine, the lack of understanding and customer care in an unusual situation left me disappointed. I hope the hotel will consider being more open for this situations.

Hotel is OK at best. Prime location and beautiful building, but it's all show and no heart. Breakfast is a let-down and staff stops replenishing it hours before it ends. Cheap and tasteless bread rolls, limited choice, flaccid coffee - a range of disappointing quality choices extending to the cheap sparkling wine offered as a luxury finishing. Small hotel room with next to absent sound insulation. Bathroom was downright chilly, shower tepid at best. Staff is friendly but trained to courteously deny and deflect any demand which doesn't allow for extra charges. This hotel is run by a management only interested in the bottom line, and is cutting all corners that do not endanger their 4* status. It deserves a team with passion for the hospitality business, in which case I wouldn't even mind paying more. As it stands, a disappointment if you expect a 4* treatment.

Habitación en excelentes condiciones, en un lugar precioso adyacente a un monasterio. Nos invitaron a una copa de cava al llegar. La habitación tiene cafetera y provisión de cápsulas y té que rellenan diariamente. Muy concienciados con el aprovechamiento del agua. No comimos allí ni asistimos a ningún evento en el monasterio, solo alojamiento. Personal muy amable
