Great location, very nice building, with wonderfully appointed common areas (esp liked the library). Friendly and attentive service and tasty food (recommend the afternoon tea). The rooms are well decorated, spacious and bright. BUT there is a lot of noise, primarily from internal sources. So insulation really should be improved. Everything is audible from the hallway and the pipes make a lot of noise when shower/bathroom is used in neighbouring rooms. This is not what I would expect from this level of hotel.

Its a lovely building in a great neighborhood, very pretty and relaxed and just a short walk from the centre of town. Very spacious rooms but really poor soundproofing. Can really hear everything from the hall, noise from neighboring rooms using the shower, noise from the street, really need to work on that. Also, just little things seem to be in need of an upgrade wrt bathrooms and TV and wifi quality. Staff are generally pleasant and attentive.
