沒有拖鞋 沒有水 沒有洗漱用品。遇上愛丁堡藝術節2500+一晚，感覺跟國內300的酒店差不多

We chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool. However, the pool was being renovated. They offered us breakfast and a discount during our stay to compensate the pool. We loved the attitude of the staff. The only problem is the air-conditioning wasn't working in our room. We used an electric heater given by the staff. In total we loved our stay there

A lovely hotel near Holyrood in the old town and only a short walk to the new town of Edinburgh. Breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. Would recommend when looking for reasonably priced accommodation in the city as was conveniently located

The location is good, very central and east to walk to anything within Edinburgh. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The building itself however was very dated and in need of renovation. Dirty old carpets everywhere. A general damp, dusty smell to the place. Didn't feel very clean. The most important thing however is that the room has no air conditioning. None of them do. Now, thinking it's Scotland you may think that it's fine. But the hotel room we stayed in was about 30 degrees and with no way of cooling. Air conditioning doesn't work, windows are latched so they only open a couple of centimetres. I genuinely couldn't stay cool in the hotel room. My partner and I had to sleep on top of the bedding without clothes on to sleep and even then we were sweating continuously. We asked if we could change rooms and they showed us 4 other rooms, all with the same issues. Honestly, don't come here. Just go for the chain ones and play it safe. It's not worth the hassle.
