Overpriced hotels as all hotels in UK. $300 USD for a tiny room. Everything is up to standard.

Séjour mitigé, malgré un emplacement idéal. Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet hôtel et en ressortons plutôt déçues dans l'ensemble. Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil a été assez froid et peu agréable. Nous avons eu le sentiment de déranger le personnel plutôt que d'être accueillies. La communication a également été compliquée : nous avons dû demander à plusieurs reprises à une employée de répéter ses explications, sans qu'elle fasse réellement d'effort pour faciliter la compréhension. Concernant la chambre, quelques points positifs sont à souligner : le lit était confortable, la salle de bain fonctionnelle et la chambre étonnamment spacieuse pour une catégorie « petite chambre ». La propreté était globalement satisfaisante, même si la douche aurait mérité un nettoyage plus soigné. En revanche, nous avons été surprises par l'absence de certains équipements et petites attentions : pas de bouilloire, ni de thé à disposition, pas de mouchoirs ou encore d'après-shampoing. Le rapport qualité-prix nous semble également assez décevant. Nous avions pourtant réservé une chambre sans fenêtre, censée être une option plus économique, mais le tarif reste élevé au regard des prestations proposées. Le véritable point fort de cet hôtel reste son emplacement, idéal pour découvrir Édimbourg à pied. En résumé, un hôtel bien situé et relativement confortable, mais dont l'accueil, les équipements et le rapport qualité-prix pourraient être améliorés.

A wonderful, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. It was probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time, and the linen & towels were excellent quality. Wifi was strong and easy to connect to, and the large in-room safe is always nice to have. Staff were very friendly and helped with the self check-in process, which was much appreciated. If there is only one minor negative comment it is that there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room. Even just an electric jug would have been handy (I always travel with a teabag in my bag!). I would definitely choose to stay here again when next in Edinburgh. Excellent hotel.

Location excellent. Breakfast ok However, room on the 6th floor is a disaster. The bathroom was designed for disabled people Bathroom floor flooded when having a shower plus a constant bad smell coming out from the drain, had to get house keepers to bring extra towels .Bathroom sink positioned to low & too close to the toilet( had to sit sideways on the toilet seat ) Unable to wash your face properly as the mirror is low to the floor Poor ventilation as the windows can’t be opened Won’t be staying here again

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. In a great location , rooms very clean quiet and comfortable.

Hotel in Edinburgh as overpriced as usual. $300 usd for a room that have no window. And btw the lifts were not working during our stays. But hotel gave us partial refunds. Overall everything is up to standard.
