伊斯特本馬傑斯蒂克酒店 by Belvilla (Majestic Hotel Eastbourne by Belvilla)

We stayed at the Majestic Hotel for one night and got a very good price, as we only needed somewhere to sleep and weren't planning to spend much time there. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the outside of the hotel looks fairly presentable with a few seats at the front to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, things were less impressive once inside. The bar was closed, with signs saying they wouldn't be serving alcohol, and one of the lifts was out of order. The hotel itself feels very dated and is in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and fresh towels were provided, but it was quite tired. The carpet was heavily stained, one bedside cabinet had clearly fallen off the wall at some point and hadn't been replaced, and the ceiling light was hanging down with exposed wires, which was a safety concern. The curtains also looked like they hadn't been updated in decades. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom was extremely small, the sink was cracked, and the shower had a significant build-up of limescale. There was no hairdryer, although basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The biggest positive was the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for the cheapest possible place to sleep in a good location, it does the job. However, I personally wouldn't stay again and would rather pay a little more for a hotel that is more comfortable and better maintained.

The room is decent and clean. A little bit far from the station, around 20 minute walk but the price is good especially for solo travel.

Lovely Hotel.  Friendly Helpful Staff, Small But Comfortable (Single Bed) Room Well Decorated And Clean.  TV With Streaming Services As Well As Freeview.  Roomy Bathroom With Shower.  All The Usual Extras - Tea/Coffee Etc - In The Room Shampoo/Soap In The Shower Room.  Very Relaxing Place To Stay And Very, Very Good Value.  No Fan Would Be My Only Gripe - Which Is Something That I Feel Is Becoming Essential.

Advertised check-out time of noon, but at 11:10am the receptionist started knocking on our door telling us check out was 11am. Showed him the booking to prove it, and he then said it was fine to stay until 12pm. We had chosen this hotel which was marginally more expensive than another because it had a later check out, so they need to correct this error so guests are not misled. Hotel itself is basic but fine as a place to sleep. Maintenance in room 7 required - 2 plug sockets don't work, shaver socket doesn't work, shower doesn't drain very well. Huge amount of cardboard and polystyrene stacked up against rear external wall which is a fire hazard. Good location on the seafront and easy walk to town centre. With some improvements it could be good.

It was my first time travelling solo and this hotel really accommodated my needs it was close by to everything shops the seaside train station was a 20 minute walk. I had a great time. I’ll definitely be back here soon :) !

This place has a great spot right across from the seafront, offering lovely views. The room is decent and warm enough for a single bed, though the bathroom is a bit cramped. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The staff have been very friendly and helpful. The amenities are poor. The carpets and bathroom floors are stained and could be replaced. The location is favourable.

Bad smells in toilet, windows very dirty from outside, inadequate tea/coffee,milk stuffs, No hair dryer.

It was ok for money but very old place So all the facilities are very old
