I had high hopes for this stay. The cleaning staff was great.
And the food was decent. I was going to book six additional days , but after not being able to receive credit back or at least a refund for 1 night from the management, I cannot recommend this hotel. Also from the room that I stayed in. You cannot open the window to allow fresh air.
Great hotel and great location in the downtown area. Older establishment but clean and great staff. The staff are well trained and customer oriented (the best I've ever experienced at any hotel). The bed was very comfortable. The food was incredible: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and full of people celebrating the Season. The cost was an excellent value. I highly recommend this spot. You can easily walk (within 5 minutes) to a Gaisanos, drug store, Dunkin' Donuts, and 5 different banks. The night market about a leisurely 15 minute walk is a fun experience. Apo View Hotel will not disappoint you and will be my choice if I ever return to Davao City.

Room was cleaned enough. But the elevator was too old and need an update. Interminent wifi connection. Buffet breakfast is okay. Limited hotel amenities, only swimming pool.
