We were put in a very small room on the 3rd floor. The lift only goes to the 2nd floor. The lift that goes to the 3rd floor was marked out of order. We are both in our late 70s and had to carry our bags along a corridor and up about 40 stairs. No member of staff offered to help. As we were going to check out we noticed a member of staff using the lift to the 3rd floor.

Our 2nd time staying at Kings head whilst on business which is always great value, excellent service and superbly located in the heart of Darlington town centre . Always a nice comfortable stay and I’m sure I will be back as I have many projects within this region.

1、位置很好，在達令頓的中心地帶，有一邊的樓是老建築的國王酒店，一側是新樓。房間小，設定維護非常一般。早餐在老樓那邊，感覺還不錯。作為自駕前往蘇格蘭的途中休息地，感覺位置上還是很合適的。 2、這個酒店有這樣幾個問題：第一是停車場位置很有限，如果到得晚，可能停不到酒店停車場，需要開去旁邊的公共停車場。酒店其實也沒跟我説清楚在哪裡，後來真的是繞了好久才找到。所以帶了行李的同志要千萬注意。第二是樓下就是當地的酒吧區，週末晚上特別吵，12點左右停止。第三是感覺住客很多是為了來泡吧的？住了一晚，看好幾個在門口和樓梯上吐的，很不舒服。 3、自駕如果是走偏東線去愛丁堡，建議還是去紐卡斯爾住；如果是西線去格拉斯哥，建議還是住湖區算了。
