Was a really nice hotel very quiet and very clean! Staff for check in were really friendly and the place was cheap too! The rooms are very big with a lot of space, balcony area was good to relax on too with good views of the city center

Good size room. Finished to a great standard. The room was great value, and the location incredible as it's right in the middle of Colchester high st.

There is no lobby on the ground floor of the hotel. You need to go to another hotel opposite to check in and get your room card first, which is a bit strange. If you stay on Friday or Saturday night, the hotel will be very noisy at night because it is close to the main street and bars. It will not be completely quiet until three in the morning. The position and facilities are good, but the room is 1 floor and near the side street where is rather noisy with drinkers and talking people, besides there is a construction site start drilling and throwing stuffs in the morning that coz me sleep little....really bad experience even I had stay this hotel over 3 times and this is not my expectation

Been here before. We had such a great stay previously, so we thought we would stay here again! We had a different room, still had a great view and the room had lots of space!
