Excellent stay at Sapientia Boutique Hotel. The location is superb, just a short three-minute walk uphill to the university, making it ideal for exploring Coimbra’s historic centre. Check-in service was outstanding. The front desk team were patient, professional, and especially helpful in assisting our group with last-minute room adjustments for two guests who were less comfortable with stairs. Although an upgrade fee applied, the staff kindly took time to show us the available room options so we could choose the most suitable arrangement. Their care and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also particularly good, with a quality selection and a very pleasant start to each day. Highly recommended for service, comfort, and location.
