Abbiamo soggiornato qui per una notte con colazione inclusa. Camera molto spaziosa, veramente bella e silenziosa nonostante la strada poco distante. Struttura mastodontica e con tantissimo potenziale forse non espresso al massimo. Piscine termali molto valide, peccato per la vasca all’aperto che aveva l’acqua leggermente tiepida e quindi inutilizzabile. Abbiamo usufruito del massaggio rilassante, molto valido! Abbiamo cenato al ristorante, buono ed esaustivo. Colazione molto piacevole. I ragazzi tutti in gamba e giovani. Unica pecca il check-in alle 15, quindi se arrivate in mattinata ci sarà da pagare un supplemento, per usufruire della SPA. Magari sarebbe stato giusto essere trasparenti e dichiararlo sul sito. Nel complesso un’ottima scoperta.

Siena is full of spas, but the Mercure Hotel was the worst experience ever. We arrived at 12:30, the room was ready, but if we wanted to go and use the pools, we had to pay €20 per person, or wait until 3:00 PM for check-in, which could have been as late as 2:00 PM. The good thing is, we had called and asked about check-in and check-out. They told us we could arrive at any time, and check-out was at 11:00 AM, but if we wanted to stay on the day of departure, we had to pay €15 to use the pools. We weren't told anything about the surcharge for early check-in. Plus, if you want a bathrobe and slippers, you have to pay another €10, I think, if not more. Honestly, it's the first time something like this has happened to me. Furthermore, in my opinion, despite the beauty of the room, it had some flaws such as mold on the windows, a blocked shower that splashed everywhere, plus the lockers to hang clothes didn't work because there were no batteries, only a few worked. Perhaps this hotel needs a good renovation, because it has excellent potential, but there is no attention. The breakfast was good but when we arrived at 9:15 it was already lacking in savory products. We asked for them but they arrived at 9:45 and at 10:00 the breakfast room theoretically closes.

Nice resort with the company of black mold. This resort was certainly a spa for everyone. even black mold. after living here for 3 nights i started to cough, thinking it was just a common cold. when my partner joking said that maybe it was the room, we actually found clusters upon clusters of black mold littering the bedsheets. when we brought up the issue with the reception manager all we got in compensation was 1 discounted breakfast and an alleviation of 10 euros worth of city tax. they had the audacity to ask: why we didn’t bring up this issue earlier? but you know, for such an esteemed resort brand were we really expected for our rooms to be a health hazard? our mistake was paying for the entirety of our stay beforehand. secondly, if you have an electric car don’t even think about staying here. their electric car chargers do not work! their website is not updated and the reception knows that it has been an issue, yet it has not been fixed. The closest charger was very far away and it was on a random mountain with no proper roads, if you do not have a jeep-like electrical car do not even think about choosing here. it was so inconvenient.
