Review of Tiara Hotel Chukai Terengganu Hi, we stayed at Tiara Hotel for one night. We checked in around 12:15 a.m. Before entering, I noticed there was a small eatery on the left side and a 24-hour shop on the right near the junction. The hotel itself is located opposite an old, abandoned high-rise building. Here’s what happened during our stay: 1. The room did not look like the photos online. It was dusty, dirty, and gave off an eerie vibe. 2. I was shocked by the appearance of the hotel and its surroundings, but I had no choice but to stay since almost every hotel in Terengganu was fully booked. 3. I had read reviews mentioning noise and fights at night, but ignored them because I just needed a place to sleep. During check-in, the receptionist mentioned that usually not many people book this hotel, very rare but for some reason that night it was fully occupied. 4. Around 1:30 a.m., I went downstairs from Level 3 to go to my car. The reception counter was completely dark and unattended. I also couldn’t figure out how to open the exit door (later I found out there was a button, but only saw it in the morning). 5. I decided to just return to my room and sleep. However, at 3:15 a.m., one of my family members woke me up. 6. There was a loud, constant banging sound on the doors, so strong that our room door vibrated. My family said it had been going on since 2:00 a.m. nonstop. I was worried it could be a robbery. I did see a police car pass by outside, maybe just routine patrol. 7. The banging finally stopped at 3:45 a.m. It lasted almost 2 hours. The noise came in intervals of 5–8 seconds. 8. After Fajr prayer, we immediately checked out and drove to a nearby market, which felt safer as there were already people setting up their stalls. 9. We had breakfast at a café in front of the hotel, good food and nice place. One of my family members spoke to the manager there, who said that the hotel we stayed at is usually “quiet.” 10. During on the way down from Level 3, I noticed one room with four pairs of slippers (two adult, two children). I felt bad, imagining how frightened that family’s kids must have been. 11. After checkout, during at the car park, we met another guest who had also just checked out after us. He said he experienced the same banging noises. His room was on Level 2, and he thought maybe someone was fixing a door but really, who does that between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.? No common sense. Whether it was unnatural or simply irresponsible, it made the whole stay very unsettling. 12. Please avoid this hotel. Safety and comfort are highly questionable. Too bad renovation and hold room is very very very very dirty. Smelly .Look by ur self ...Really geli

Tak sesuai kalau utk bawa keluarga besar lagi yg berumur, bilik besar hanya ada ditingkat atas. Tv tak berfungsi, econ pun rosak. Air dibilik air kecik, tiada baldi dlm tandas. Tgh pagi suara riuh mcm org bergaduh di stage bawah 😌

Bilik yg bagus dengan kemudahan yg lengkap. Cuma tilam sudah lembik. Lokasi agak jauh. Sistem ambil kunci agak mengelirukan

Biasa je tp ok la buat tempat tidur berehat kejap. Tapi jangan expect apa2 nak dpt tempat cantik.. hotel budget dia betul2 zaman lama punya tp bagus siap ada coway.. janji katil tak keras .air paip shower laju.

Very old and basic hotel. Only suitable for very very budget or broke travellers. Bed is basically made of concrete.

Layan baik cuma ada lampu yang rosak di kawasan tangga menyebabkan suasana agak suram
