The reception didn't come across welcoming and friendly to what our experience has been with other motels, especially after travelling from far. Parking was good and just outside the room. In the back garden there is a good view of the peach and pear tree, and flowers. Even though the room came with double and single bed, the single bed was not usable as the mattress was very soft and there was a strong stale odour from that area, unsure if of urine. There is also no air conditioning, so the room can get stuffy. The hotel is also near a main road, so can be noisy.

Located just outside the city centre, this property offers onsite parking and affordable laundry ($3 per wash). The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spacious, well-presented bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette. Note there’s no lift, so request a ground floor room if you have heavy luggage. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, though there were a few downsides. Reception staff were unwelcoming, and we experienced a long wait at check-in without apology. There were also minor cleanliness and maintenance issues, including the cutlery tray, kettle, and a rusted dish drainer.

room is clean, good location uncomfortable bed; wifi reception sometimes unstable; water turned brown in the bathroom but later lighten up- host checked on it but didn't do anything because it's out of their control- extended the check out time for 1 hour which is good
