Watch for parking fees when booking this hotel. They charge approx $33.00 per night for parking. That was a surprise for us when we arrived at the hotel since the parking used to be free. We were staying there for 3 nights, so it would be an additional $100 expense. The manager was able to give us a promotional code, but you have to give your info to a 3rd party vendor to get that. On top of that, the parking lot was infested with huge rats. On Friday night, we had to park farther from the hotel entrance because the parking was pretty full, and the rats were running around the parking, near the dumpster. My family and other guests were scared to walk to the entrance because of that, and there was no other way to avoid walking by the bunch of rats . It was a really bad experience. The room was clean and spacious.

Service was excellent. Check in/out was a breeze. Extremely accommodating. Pet friendly. Convenient location near the highway. Many options to choose from for breakfast. All in all it was a great stay.

A comfortable hotel with complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle service. Friendly staff and fast free wifi throughout the hotel. Good location close to the CTA metro station at Cumberland. I was informed room cleaning would be every alternate day however this unfortunately didn't occur during my visit. Overall a pleasant stay

The hotel itself is nice and the room has all the amenities. Limited breakfast options. Ah yes, nothing says ‘appetizing’ like boiled eggs served at arctic temperatures. Perfect if you’re feeding penguins. And as a bonus, the customer service team clearly believes in silent meditation—they don’t respond to emails, so don’t bother wasting your time. It’s been over two weeks and still no sign of my deposit. If you’re booking with Springhill, just go ahead and factor in your deposit as a generous donation—you’re probably not seeing it again.
