We had a spa day. The treatment was ok and the spa facilities limited and dated. The whole place was dated and not clean enough. Our bedroom was dated and not very clean. The windows were dirty and the double glazing was blown and the panes very dirty. Bathroom was fine. There were no toiletries other than hand and body wash. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was also limited lacking yoghurt and pastries hostage were helpful and pleasant

On the whole a pleasant experience.  From a cleanliness perspective it was fairly good but there were quite a few spiders webs in ceiling corners and under radiators which had likely been there for some time.  Breakfast was fine however when some of our party arrived 10 minutes before the end of serving there were no glasses for juice and no bowls for fruit/cereal to use. Appreciate its close to the end of the time frame but breakfast was still open. Also if you like coffee, then I’d avoid the coffee served at breakfast.

This is a very traditional hotel. It has a very good leisure centre (so don’t forget your swim suit). The hotel has a large bar area which is very comfortable and the prices reasonable. There is a large free car park. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Not the best stay here. The tv was not tuned in. Last visit no tv remote control. The shower temperature control was not working properly. But still the location is good and the spa is good
