unfortunately I got to my first room which was dirty, with lots of hair in the bed sheet. Moved to a second bedroom also dirty, it wad clear it hadnt been cleaned since a long time as I found so must dust food a pen and a golf ball under the bed. They cleaned it properly the second day but then the hot water didnt work. Overall I am afraid it doesnt match the high ratings I have seen in this and other platforms.

It was random selection which turned out to be the best one. Best location in carlton. 3-4 mins drive to cbd and other good spots. If you are a foodie you must book this place, as you step out of the hotel and you have access to every cafe and food spots.

The Elgin Carlton Studios was small but perfect for a single or a couple for a few nights. Well located near to many restaurants with an enjoyable walk through parks to zoo precinct and easy tram return. Hot water wasn’t available but I’m sure the helpful team at the studios jumped onto that.
