The cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option. If you want cleanliness it was 100%

Great service and facilities. However, it's a bit noisy since the motel is located right next to the highway. Besides that, we have nothing but good words for the Saanichton Motel 6!

Cheap motel, adequate for a night but I don’t think I would choose to stay there again. Thermostat in the room was broken, room was about 5-10C. Floors were a bit dirty. No evidence of bed bugs though.
