The most amazing stay! Aquila is a giant safari reserve and your stay is situated within the reserve. Excellent full board service so you only have to pay for your own drinks. The facilities and scenery are next to none. Amazing views and great accommodation. Situated in the middle of nowhere you are surrounded by wildlife and the ultimate stargazing opportunity. This stay is a must! I won’t post any pictures of the animals as I don’t want to spoil it for all future travellers.

It was nice hotel and very good safari games for first time. Food was ok, but bakery could be better, also it’s very strange that soft drinks are not included even water of box juiced. I have booked quite expensive room, and hoped that my children could use indoor pool, however they were not allowed to use it as there is restrictions for children under 16 years old. It was big frustration and most important for us was this pool.

Op ca 2 uur afstand van Kaapstad. In eerste instantie leek het wat massaal omdat er ook veel dagtoeristen zijn. Maar toch krijg je snel (zeker in de ochtend en avond) een wat intiemer gevoel. Het park is niet al te groot dus met de game drives zie je bijna zeker de meeste dieren. Er zijn wel leeuwen maar geen luipaarden, dus niet de volledige Big5. Prima spa, behandelingen zijn uitstekend. Het eten is in buffetvorm en daardoor niet het beste wat we in Zuid-Afrika hebben gehad maar gewoon goed. We hebben extra een quad safari gedaan. Daar moet je voor bijbetalen maar het was het meer dan waard. Wat een geweldige ervaring om midden in de natuur tussen de dieren te rijden.

The view of the room is just Perfect! The staff is so helpful as well, they kindly help us carry the luggage to our rooms without us asking for help. The safari drive is also wonderful. Thank you for everything

The whole experience at Aquila was unreal. Our check-in experience was very smooth even though we were very late and had to immediately go for our sunset safari. The buffet spreads across all meals was great overall! Staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely spacious, clean and had great views. We were on Level 1, so we had access to a huge patio which opened up to the serene beauty of the mountains.
