A beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Canberra. The tall ceilings, antique charm, and framed newspaper clippings give it wonderful character. The amenities are great, especially the complimentary coffee machine. That said, the building does have a noticeable musty smell that’s hard to ignore at first, but it comes with the territory of an older property. Overall, a classy and comfortable stay with plenty of charm and history.

Nice old fashioned hotel. Very clean room and bathroom. Good service! Only small problems are less car parking area and a soft mattress.

Nice clean comfortable hotel. Would definitely stay again as they have family rooms with 2 bedrooms. Staff friendly and easy to get to things. Would recommend Manaka for dining/cafes/shops

Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ruhige und angenehme Gegend, nettes Personal und super ausgestatteter Fitnessraum. Der Stil vom Hotel hat mir zudem sehr zugesagt.

This hotel is in a great location close to embassies and walks around the lake, best if you drive. Rooms and beds are comfortable. I usually stay here because of the quality of my stay, the quiet location and great breakfasts in Manuka. Private and lovely place to stay.
