I stayed here for one night to break up my journey from Phoenix to Flagstaff. The hotel is basic but was generally clean and it was an affordable place for me to get some rest. Bedding was comfortable but the furniture and fittings were a little bit worn, including in the bathroom. I would also criticise that the walls were a little thin and the door to the corridor had a large gap at the bottom which did cause some noise disturbance overnight from other guests and neighbouring rooms watching TV. Breakfast is basic but ample for the price. It is a 30 minute drive from Cottonwood and about 40 minutes to Sedona from this hotel. You are also located very close to Montezuma National Monument which is a must see in this area.

We spent a night at SureStay by Best Western, Camp Verde, AZ, on our way from Phoenix to San Diego. The motel is just off the highway I8 exit and easily accessible. Overall, the stay was pleasant & we had a good-night sleep. For anyone who looks for quick, one-night midway stop driving between Phoenix & San Diego, SureStay at Camp Verde is a nice option.
