XYL寵物友好海濱精品旅館 (Xyl Pets Friendly Seaside Boutique Guesthouse)

Advertised and paid $215 for 1 night, as 'Delux Art Room in a Seaside Boutique Guesthouse' is false advertising on steriods! The only truthful statement in the advertising for this disgusting place was that it was pet friendly but you are charged an extra $40 when you arrive. This is presumably because extra cleaning is required! The whole place is filthy, run down, overgrown, falling apart and a health hazard! The furniture, what little there is in the room was covered in mould with dust and hair attached. Nothing had been cleaned for a very long time and under the cupboards was disgusting. The plates we tried to use had some sticky brown liquid on them and the one spoon was coated it something i couldn't identify. We elected to sleep on top of the bed on our sarongs and were very grateful we had our own pillows. There were cigarette buts under the bedside table . This is in a room that was advertised as smoke free, which we as non smokers had requested-disgusting. The shared bathroom and toilet were also filthy. Needless to say we didn't shower. The outdoor kitchen was even worse. There was not a single piece of equipment you could use. The TV didn't work and I called the owner for both it and the disgusting condition of the room. She came and used a filthy mop to wash down the mould, floors and cobwebs on the ceiling. I am contacting the health department and I have no doubt they will be closed down. See photos
