太平洋雷吉斯公寓 (Pacific Regis)

Pacific Regis is in an idyllic location, literally just across the road from the beautiful Burleigh Heads Beach and a few minutes walking distance to the bus station, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and the national park - perfect! The Reception Team were friendly, helpful and professional. We were assigned a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment on the ground floor. The apartment was spacious and had been partially renovated. At first glance it appeared clean, however it became apparent that it was not as clean as we first thought. Sand on the floors making them slippery, the kitchen worktop had some crumbs on and a few crockery items in the cupboard were dirty. We had to clean all of the kitchen worktops and some of the crockery and utensils before use. The washing machine seal was extremely dirty with a black residue covering it - maybe mould. We used several wet wipes to clean it, but Housekeeping will need to use stronger cleaning products on this seal. The apartment was generally quiet. However the refuse bins were located opposite the bedroom window, and the refuse collection at 5am was a stark unwanted alarm call. Both bedrooms were large with plenty of wardrobes and storage. The beds were very comfy with lovely linen. The bathrooms were well laid out and the showers were lovely, but they could do with an extractor fan to deal with the build up of steam. The lounge/dining room was well furnished and comfortable. The terrace had a table and four chairs as well as three high stalls. A great place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. With the apartment we received free WiFi and 1 free parking space, which was great as parking on the street was difficult to find. We cannot comment on the pools or tennis court as we did not have the opportunity to use them and the sauna was 'out of use' during our visit. Overall we had a lovely stay at Pacific Regis. It just needs a little more attention to detail to make it perfect.
