(Karoly Corner Residences)

The room was great overall the stay was good have a good sleep but the hand shower is faulty water was leaking. the breakfast is ok but there was only one yoghurt given on the first day as compared to the second day.

Nice apartments near the metro and the city center, cozy bed and good breakfast.

Our experience at Karoly Apartments in Budapest was extremely disappointing. Communication was almost nonexistent. Despite providing a WhatsApp contact, you can only communicate with an AI chatbot, and our messages and requests went unanswered. We requested an early check-in but received no response. When we arrived at approximately 11 am, the receptionist told us we would receive a message through 訂房網站 once our apartment was ready. However, by 3:30 pm, we had received neither a message nor an access code. We had to return to the property ourselves, where we eventually managed to enter because the main door had been left open. The receptionist then handed us an access code that appeared to work for all doors and directed us to Apartment 11 on the second floor, which also raised concerns about security. Upon entering, we immediately noticed a very unpleasant smell that made us question whether the apartment had been properly cleaned after the previous guests. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with hair left in the sink, paper on the floor and toilet paper still in the toilet. This is simply unacceptable for accommodation that is supposed to be professionally cleaned between guests. To make matters worse, we also experienced problems with the heating, as the air conditioning was blowing cold air rather than providing heat. The biggest issue was the combination of poor cleanliness, lack of communication and difficulty reaching an actual member of staff when assistance was needed. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Basic hygiene, reliable communication and functional facilities should be the minimum standards for any accommodation. Unfortunately, Karoly Apartments failed to meet these expectations, and I would not recommend staying here based on our experience.
