I was staying overnight only and checked in at 21:30. Loved the bed, the firm pillows and winter style duvet and check out time of midday but that was all The building looks dilapidated, grubby and as though not a single thing has been refurbished since it's development. Could not get the heating to work; grubby stained-looking dreary brown carpet throughout the building. Tatty shower curtain and a fixed shower head so you must stand directly under it. Good quality towels and free luggage storage good points.

Very good value. Huge room and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice and service friendly and efficient. Parking discounted. All in all, very good value, for a hotel in central Brighton.
