We celebrated my wife’s birthday over the weekend. Their hospitality was amazing. They’ve upgraded our room and decorated it for the occasion. They’ll provide us with all the info they have and try to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They will frequently check in with us on the food quality and how is the stay etc. We really appreciate their hospitality and services provided. There is quite a fair bit of food choices available at Port 19 (local and western). The food we have ordered are good and delicious. Despite the resort is at its soft opening, there is quite a fair bit of activities that you can do here. For example, there are pools, gym, fitness studio for yoga, bicycle riding, pool table, darts, kids' activities rooms and outdoor playgrounds. There will be more facilities opening up soon like the spa and beach clubhouse in the coming months.

Service was amazing. Once arrived the terminal in Bintan, can easily find Mövenpick’s pick up point with a warm welcome. Quickly arranged on the shuttle bus. The view from hotel was stunning with natural breeze. Breakfast buffet is great with many varieties. Kids club is brilliant, my girl loves it and can spend one whole day there. Nap room for kids is perfect for those who takes a late ferry back to Singapore after check out. Will definitely visit again when the beach club opens. Special thanks to the house keeping team for the efforts in preparing the birthday surprise in the room.

From the moment you arrive you step into a tropical and luxurious escape! A new resort with all facilities that you need and plenty of entertainment and dining options. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach surrounded by lots of greenery and included a golf course. There are two different pools either plenty of lounge chairs (including umbrella) and a swim-up bar!! You can walk or bike around the expensive property grounds! Or next to the coast. Klon Tong cafe was one of our favourite spots. Beside the the daily chocolate hour a perfect place to try and enjoy all kind of delicious food and drinks prepared by an excellent and friendly staff. Especially, Mega, Novia, Haiqhal, and Jonathan made the stay memorable by always smiling and giving us a warm welcome.

Upon arrival and check in i was served by Shintia. She has advised me to upgrade to a bigger room knowing i hv 2 sons staying in a room. No regrets indeed. The room was v spacious n love the huge balcony facing the sea. Spectacular view indeed. Love the interior designs n furniture. The buffet has a good spread of healthy food. I had a great stay. All the staff is v polite n frendly. Definitely will come back.

After watching the rennovation from the golfcourse a few times, now we had the opportunity to stay at the new Movenpick resort Bintan in their soft-launch period. Although they still need to do some work, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in combination with the golfcourse. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good, we tried the local food. Probably they will increase the number of dishes when fully opened. Breakfast very good: mix of buffet and a la cart. Local and international. Fresh juices. Little problems , part of opening a new hotel, were tackled immediately. Overall a great golf / relax experience. We will come back soon. Also need to try the Japanese restaurant.

Friendly staff. Most of staff able to communicate with English. Tasty buffet breakfast. Beautiful ocean pool and Recreation Village. Excited the new disco Lounge which will opening soon.

The property was taken over from an older hotel and has been refurbished and renovated under the Mövenpick brand. The rooms are new, modern and clean. They are still in soft launch stage, so some adult-focused amenities like the spa and beach club are not operational yet. That said, most of the kids’ facilities are up and running, my kids especially loved the kids’ club, arcade room and the pool. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread was good. The complimentary afternoon chocolate buffet was also a lovely, thoughtful touch. Given the very reasonable pricing during this soft launch period, it’s highly recommended for families.
