This is an absolute revolting hostel. They will place you in a room they feel you will be suited for. So if you’ve had a long journey and don’t look like a Madonna when you arrive you’ll be in for a surprise. The surprise: 1. Mites in the duvets 2. Duvets are not washed 3. Bugs in the lockers 4. Not even slippers will protect you from tinea pedis 5. If you pay for your clothes to be washed - they wont wash them all and some go missing! 6. Disgusting guests with no basic hygiene Unable to sleep due to someone constantly letting off gas in my room and without a care in the world, I requested a room change. They offered me a room with folks that were not much different from the one I was in. After all the days of scratching and then seeing bugs in my locker at 2am I thought this was the final nerve and decided to get a hotel. Save more money if you have to come to Bilbao. And for the hostel folks “keep the change”.
