The hotel is very new and nicely deco. It is a long building and has 2 storeys of guest rooms. Other floors are catering towards function and convention events. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Room is cozy and clean. As the hotel sits inside Harbour Bay and walking distance to the ferry terminal. I like its location due to not crowded and noisey. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and good sleep night at the hotel.

Wonderful Stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Had a very pleasant stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, making our stay very relaxing. The staff were attentive, friendly and always ready to assist. The location is excellent, and conveniently located near Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, making arrival and departure very easy. Breakfast was another highlight! Delicious, with a good variety of choices to start the day. Real juices would be much appreciated instead of cordials. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Batam!

I recently stayed at the Grand Swiss-Belhotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and elegant ambience of the hotel. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request, making my stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. Every detail of the hotel exuded quality and comfort, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. The plug socket at my bed side was not working. I asked to fix it and it was fixed. However the rectangular lighting at the toilet was flicking all the time. I asked to fix. It was not fixed. The flicking was probably due to a more complicated problem and it would not be easy for the electrician to fix it.

I booked this hotel because it was newly opened, but only realized upon arrival that parts of the property were still undergoing construction. The gym was not yet operational, and several rooms remained closed for renovation. During my two-night stay, there was a serious insect issue in the room, including mosquitoes, fruit flies, flies, and other insects. My friend was bitten multiple times during our stay. On the morning of the second day, I requested a room change, but was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available. The staff assured me that they would arrange pest control treatment for the room, but no action appeared to have been taken. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the experience, especially given the lack of resolution despite raising the issue with the hotel.

So the hotel is nice and new. However, there was an issue with soap not being filled when we came or being filled up the next day, a closet light that wouldn't turn off. The hotel did address these when raised but personally I would love for it to have never popped up. Also the do not disturb/make up room light doesn't seem to work or at least confusing. But overall, nice hotel good location just some minor things to fix up.

Had it not been for the mosquito issue, I would have given this property a much higher rating. Unfortunately, both my wife and I were bitten by mosquitoes around ten times each in a single night. We eventually had to purchase an electric mosquito repellent at our own expense from a convenience store. This was particularly disappointing because the location, cleanliness, and food were all good.
