Loved our stay here! The rooms were clean, spacious, well furnished and comfy. The aircon is amazing. The breakfast spread is good, but quite slow service and refilling. Our cappuccino was very delayed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the security, door men and bag service men. Location is fantastic, walkable to BCS Mall and Grand Batam mall.

Disgusting and dishonest — do NOT stay here! Unfair charges and filthy rooms. Terrible experience from start to finish. The rooms are dirty and disgusting. When we checked in, the bed sheets already had blood stains. At checkout, the hotel tried to charge me IDR 200,000 for them! When we removed the sheets, we discovered the mattress was filthy and horrifying (see photo). We booked 3 rooms and noticed the stains on the very first day, but didn’t complain because we didn’t want to cause trouble. In the end, the hotel blamed us for not reporting it immediately. Instead of apologizing, they shamelessly argued with us and insisted it was our problem. Even when I asked for ONE extra towel, the staff said the hotel was “fully booked” and couldn’t provide it. A big hotel with no extra towels? Absolutely ridiculous. This hotel only knows how to scam guests with unfair fees, while providing disgusting rooms and terrible service. Worst hotel experience ever — strongly NOT recommended!

Hotel stay was good, booked a Family room. Services were excellent and the location was ideal, all within walking distance. We had a very good sleep. My 2nd time staying here and the breakfast buffet has since improved with a wider spread. Keep up the good work! Worth mentioning is that we requested 3 single beds, although 1st night it was a full house, 2nd day morning they really prepared it for us. But since we slept well, we declined the good offer. Thumbs up!

Good location opposite BCS mall. This hotel has very strick non refundable policy if free cancellation window is passed. Even tough 訂房網站.com try to appeal and proof of sickness provides by doctor, still they reject the request. So for service it is only 2 star. Location and hotel condition is good to be fair.

The hotel location is the best, bcs shopping mall Wet market,wholesale market, Little box kuek lapis store, massage near to the hotel. If you want twin beds, do not book superior room as they dont provide twin beds. Book under Delxue. Breakfast are provided. Rooms are not sound proof. Can hear alot of people talking while walking pass the room door. Services are good too.

Booked a room for my friend as is their first time in Batam. They are happy with the room and they feel that is very good location nearby have market, malls , food court.

My recent stay at the Aston Inn Gideon in Batam was unfortunately quite disappointing, marred by a series of issues that significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. We were initially pleased to receive an early check-in and a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which was indeed very spacious. However, our excitement quickly faded as we discovered the room was uncomfortably hot with only one air conditioning unit, taking an excessive amount of time to cool down. The issues escalated when we found a cockroach in the room. While the staff promptly accommodated our request for a room change to a similar size, our relief was short-lived. The replacement room was disappointingly not thoroughly clean, evidenced by a half-drank KOI beverage left in the fridge from a previous guest. This lack of attention to detail was quite off-putting. On our second day, the electricity for the hairdryer and air conditioning inexplicably cut off mid-use. Despite calling for assistance, no one from the staff came to help us. This breakdown in service, coupled with the previous issues, led us to make the decision to check out early. It was particularly frustrating to observe staff members laughing and listening to music when I opened my door, which further highlighted the perceived lack of urgency or concern for our situation. While the early check-in and room upgrade were initially positive gestures, they were unfortunately overshadowed by significant cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and a concerning lack of responsiveness from the staff. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to recommend Aston Inn Gideon to others. While the hotel's location is great, offering numerous food options nearby, it's also important to note that there are many other hotel choices in the vicinity that potential guests might consider given the issues encountered here.

Selected the family suite - biggest room for our family of 3. The room was big and located on level 2. I stayed at rm 225 corner room. Breakfast was good although the fried cakue and coffee can be better. Location is perfect…in between BCS and Grand Batam mall and the local market which provided good food options in the day time and also A2 food court at night. A lot of massage places as well. Will come back to stay.
