I was speechless to say the least. As I'm not a very fussy kind of person I thought it can't be THAT bad but my god it sure was....for the first time ever I saw a hotel room with a whole in the middle of the headboard of the bedframe, white spots all over the carpet (which i really don't want to even imagine where they came from) and dirty walls. To top it off the reception asked for a £50 cash deposit during my stay which honestly I didn't understand at all after seeing the state of the room. Anyway, I addressed the issue, the 訂房網站.com agent was helpful and then I got offered another room in the hotel which was much nicer (clearly newly renovated) but then i came to find a whole family of bugs in the shower....I will always check reviews after this experience. It was truly unexpected to experience this level of uncleanness in 2023 in UK. See the photos and come to your own conclusion

The air conditioner wasn’t working. The toilet wasn’t cleaned meanwhile I was told it was. The room wasn’t in good order and I had it booked prior to my visit.
