I recently stayed at Rema Residence in Chinatown and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the heart of Yaowarat Road, making it perfect for exploring Bangkok’s famous street food and cultural landmarks. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being in such a busy area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. Facilities are basic but well-maintained. There’s no restaurant or pool, but the surrounding area has everything you need. It’s a great place for travelers who value location, cleanliness, and simplicity.

Basic. It’s alright for a hotel stay near Chinatown. I wished there were more hangers on the toilet wall, and a shower screen. Sound proofing in the room is weak.

เราเลือกแบบถูก เพราะแค่แค่ใช้อาศัยนอนคืนเดียว เช้าวันต่อไปก็หาหมอ ห้องดีกว่าที่คิดไว้เยอะ ห้องกว้าง นอนสบาย ห้องน้ำสะอาดสะอ้านดีแต่อาจจะมีรอยปูนในห้องน้ำที่ทำให้ดูเหมือนห้องน้ำสกปรก แต่ก็มองผ่านได้ การเดินทางไปหาของกินขึ้นชื่อของเยาวราชก็ใกล้ สรุปว่าประทับใจ ถ้ามีโอกาสก็จะไปค้างคืนที่นี่อีก

The lobby and corridors are beautifully designed and give a great first impression. However, the actual room I stayed in was quite dated and clearly not yet renovated. From other guests’ photos, it seems some rooms may have already been updated, but mine felt temporary and unfinished. There was no kettle provided to make coffee in the room, which was disappointing. The walls were also extremely thin—I could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax. On the plus side, they do offer complimentary biscuits and a communal coffee table, which is a nice touch. Overall, while the common areas are impressive, the rooms themselves don’t quite live up to the same standard.
