尼拉塔酒店 (Nirarta Center for Living Awareness)

Very relaxing place and fair value. It is on a ***** of highend resorts which means there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafe/bars in the immediate vicinity. It suited me well, being less OTT than some resorts (I expect) whilst still being luxurious and peaceful. The staff are all brilliant: cleaners, gardeners, cooks, reception… Despite the open ventilation of the rooms I was very pleasantly surprised not to encounter lots of creepy crawlies and very few mosquitoes. A friendly gecko left a deposit every couple of days in the same spot. I never saw him but I imagine he was busy at night getting rid of insects! By the way, although it markets itself a living awareness and meditation place it was all “normal” for those, like me, not into that! Breakfast was a little limited in what you were allowed to have as part of the deal but it was absolutely fine. The area really was delightful and I would gladly stay again.
