We were in Auckland to attend a funeral and the location was the first attraction. It just got better. Tina is a warm and gracious host. The house is beautiful with its art deco era and comfortable furnishings. Despite a sizeable storm hitting Auckland we were cosy by the fire in the lounge and then in our comfortable bed in the Karekare room. Everything is clean and the kitchen facilities were excellent. We’d book again for sure.

Friendly homestay with clean amenities and friendly hosts. Wood fire to stay warm and like minded travellers to enjoy a conversation with. Finn the cat was a welcome addition to our stay.
