When I’m in Amritsar, I stay at the heritage walk Amritsar cause of its close proximity to Sri Harmandir Sahib. Staff are friendly and a few recognise me though I only travel yearly. It’s a good recommendation with shopping right around and lots of activity all through the night .

The location is good as it’s close to Golden temple. We had booked a family suite .. the curtains were stained, it was noisy , the view outside was horrible and even their bathroom had no proper water drainage. The staff is courteous but the room was bad

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience to save others from being misled. This hotel is falsely advertised as a 4-star property. According to basic hospitality standards, a 4-star hotel must offer essential amenities like a swimming pool, which this property lacks entirely. How it managed to earn a 4-star rating is beyond me—it certainly doesn’t deserve it. To make matters worse, there's no valet parking or even proper parking facilities. That’s not just inconvenient—it’s unacceptable for a so-called upscale hotel. The property leans heavily on its ITC affiliation, but don’t be fooled by the name. The actual experience is far from premium. The management clearly relies on branding over substance, and it shows. This place doesn’t come close to delivering the comfort, service, or amenities you'd expect from a genuine 4-star stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality or value for money. There are far better options out there—skip this one.

My family and I had an amazing stay The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. Special mention for Mr Deepak who really took great care of us. Food was good and the location is excellent and extremely close to the main attractions. Highly recommend this property

The location was perfect - within walking distance to the Golden Temple. Our room was comfortable. All our meals were delicious and there were a variety of options. The service from all the staff was great and we would eapecially like to thank Kavi, Amit and Jashan in the restaurant who were very helpful, provided excellent service, and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one!

Hotel is right in central old Amritsar walking distance from Jallianwala Bagh, Golden Temple and the Partition Museum. Rooms were clean and amenities were good. I would have given 5 stars except for the drawbacks. We booked 5 delux rooms. Some rooms were very spacious, while some were as small as a box with no space to turn around even. This discrepancy should not be there in an ITC hotel. Secondly the service was very poor, the food at the restaurant and room service was very slow and the housekeeping was non existent. We called 4-5 times for towels in the room, as they had removed our used towels and were not provided the same till late night. Nothing should require 5 calls to get done which indicates their callousness. Otherwise I would still recommend this place if they improve on these points.

Usually I consider ITC hotel chain as my preferred travel partner because of the exceptional food quality and hospitality. ITC Fortune Inn Heritage Walk didn't disappoint. The location is exceptional as it's at a 5 min walking distance from Golden Temple, Jalianwala Baug, Partition Museum. The food taste and quality was exceptional as always. Room was a bit small but very clean and well maintained. Overall a great experience with the ITC fortune hotels once again. Only thing to keep in mind is, the old city area is very crowded almost all the time so it might take 30 35 min atleast for getting in and out.
