Celebrated mom's birthday there. Great food, good location overalla good place to chill during the weekend. No TV is thereas it is a heritage property but generally charges are near toa 5 star resort.

We stayed 1 night in this magical, unique experience during our India visit. This is a must stay as you get the chance to get immersed and lost in this historical site which is full of paths and doorways that leads all around the compound so you can get lost without really getting lost! Amazing spread for the dinner buffet plus our stay included complimentary high tea and a evening cultural show which featured the talents that performed on Britain's Got Talent! No two rooms are the same so escape the bustle of traffic noise and stay here immediately!

There are steep uphills to walk everywhere. Not advisable for those who are aged or have heart problems. Rooms are average. They are not like actual palace rooms but are make shift type from old time rooms of may ve other purposes. Udaipur and Jaipur area palace hotels are very good compared to this.

1. Service and staff courtesy was excellent, especially for senior citizens. 2. Food was delicious and fresh. There was enough variety. 3. Ambience and scenery were breathtaking. 4. Check in and Check out were very smooth. 5. Padlocks on the front doors were placed too high...difficult for senior citizens to reach overhead. 6. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping was prompt. 7. Climbing the steep steps to the rooms and dining facilties were very challenging for senior citizens, but the staff were always there to help. 8. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay despite the challenges for senior citizens
