Review for Kaveri Hotel, Prayagraj During my stay at Kaveri Hotel in Prayagraj, I found the rooms to be small, but given the rush and high demand during the Mahakumbh, they were manageable. The ambience was decent, though some areas could benefit from better management and training. Despite the challenges posed by the overwhelming crowd, the cooperation from the staff and hotel management was commendable. They did their best with the available resources, ensuring a reasonable level of comfort in such a hectic period. While they could have provided better facilities considering the scale of the Mahakumbh, I appreciate their efforts in maintaining essential services. Overall, a fair stay given the circumstances, and I thank the team for their support during this time.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Right from the check-in, the front desk staff lacked basic customer service skills and professionalism. The entire process felt outdated and inefficient, reflecting an old-school business approach that does not align with modern hospitality standards. The building itself is old and poorly maintained, with cleanliness and upkeep clearly not being a priority. The rooms were equipped with outdated window air conditioners, and the furniture looked worn out. The overall interior quality was subpar, making the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the washrooms were average at best, and the absence of an exhaust fan only added to the inconvenience. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its proximity to the railway station, which is convenient for travelers. However, for the premium price charged, we later realized that there are far better alternatives available in the area. Given the poor service, outdated amenities, and lack of maintenance, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

I had advance booked a deluxe room in december for a stay on 1 st and 2 nd feb at a fixed non cancellable high rate per night ( because of kumbh ). When we reached we were allotted a claustrophobic room enough for the bed with no room to even open our strolleys. Had to fight with the owner / manager who was trying to make higher money by giving us cheaper room. Later we were shifted to another room which was slightly better but small nonetheless. The rooms are not worth more than 2500- during normal times. Sorry not the hotel for me next time if i am promised something and given something else. Had to show the deluxe room photos in the booking after which they shifted us.

If you are not allowed to enter pragyraj city if you are travel-ling from outside in your vehicle then you must let your customer know about this issue before taking booking

Unhealthy food, room condition was very bad, staff were not having basic manner to deal with the guests, they were greedy and were looking for money for every basic call
