GOOD HOTEL BUT LOUD AND ANNOYING MUSIC  I love this hotel! The room is spacious and clean, the bed is ultra comfortable, the pool is medium size and the water is fresh & clear, everyone in the staff is very polite and courteous, etc. However, in public areas, including in elevators and namely in the breakfast restaurant (« The Market »), there’s loud and invasive music blasting out of the speakers. The type of music, funk and R&B most of the time, is somewhat questionable for a 7am breakfast. My first morning at the hotel, I came down for breakfast and almost thought I was in a nightclub. At 9:30am one morning, the volume was so loud, it was difficult to even hear oneself think. I simply left to go elsewhere. Ambiant music is like second hand smoke, when it’s there, you have no choice but to « breathe it » and accept it even if you didn’t choose it and don’t like it. Maybe the volume could be taken down a bit. Otherwise, I recommend ear plugs… they could come in handy. IMHO, the coffee at The Market is below average and disappointing but very good at Java+. The meals I had at The Drift were excellent!
