We stayed for 1 night at Balcone Hotel & Suites. Location was superb, cool air , breezy and the mountain view was stunning as I have book my room overlooking the Merapi & Singalang mountain. Our room was spacious & clean & quiet. Breakfast can be improved. The wash hand basin had a bit of problem as the water does not flow very well but we manage to open the sink trap to let the water out. Settle the problem. Overall happy ending. Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the beautiful view from the swimming pool overlooking Mount Merapi and Mount Singgalang — truly a unique experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy during my stay, so I couldn’t enjoy the mountain view as clearly as I had hoped. Still, the overall experience was relaxing and worth it.

Sicherlich eines der besseren Hotels in Bukittinggi. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt muss man allerdings auch sagen, dass das Hotel in Teilen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Unser Badezimmer war nicht besonders schön, die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

Stressful! Kamar mandi bau, sabun yg disediakan sangat sedikit, ada semut di handuk, dan kecoa/serangga di kamar. The hotel is actually good, I hope they can improve and can do better service, esp on the cleanliness aspect.
